We were approached with an opportunity to open a shop in downtown Clintonville, WI at a modern new store called, down Home on Main and from there that led us here to our online shop!! We have exclusive items right here on our site that you won't always find at our store!!

RETURN POLICY: At Modern Thread we are working hard to make sure that you feel and look your absolute best! However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we would like to respectfully hear from you. You can reach out to us @ Modernthread@myyahoo.com for further return/exchange instructions or questions.

All returns must be made within 14 days when you receive your order. There will be ONLINE CREDIT ONLY. Buyer is responsible for return shipping or drop off. When returning you will need to include all items including the original receipt. Shipping is nonrefundable. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items; items cannot be exchanged or returned after the 14 day period. There will be no exceptions. A credit will be issued to you via email as soon as the items are returned and have met the following.

Return/exchange items have to be unworn, unwashed, no makeup stains, no deodorant stains, animal hair, smelling of cigarette smoke or fragrances, and tags attached in order for them to be returned/exchanged. 

Clearance, Sale items and Pre-Orders are final sale and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged.

All bralettes, leggings, accessories, and hats/beanies, and shoes are not eligible for return or exchange.

The term FINAL SALE means an item cannot be returned or exchanged.

Shipping and Pick UP

  • All orders will be processed and shipped within 48 business hours. If an order is placed on a Saturday or Sunday, it will ship out on Monday. 
  • Orders over $100 Ship FREE!
  • All orders are a flat rate of $5.00.
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. You will need to contact the United States Postal Service to dispute the matter.
  • Only Ships to Domestic US Orders.
  • Local Pick-up is available within 24 hours. Pick up address will be located on your invoice and must be paid prior to pick up. Pick up hours are 9am-9pm. If your order for pick-up is placed on a Saturday or Sunday morning, it will be ready for pickup on Monday.
